About Dorian
Dorian Quinn was born in Stillwater, Oklahoma and raised in Ponca City as part of a lively family of five. He discovered his passion for performing in a local production of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory — and from that moment on, the stage felt like home. Throughout his youth, Dorian honed his craft in community theatre before earning a BFA in Musical Theatre at the University of Central Oklahoma, where he studied voice under Dr. Marilyn Govich.
While in college, he took on leading roles in productions such as Leap of Faith (Jonas Nightengale), Floyd Collins (Homer Collins), and The Spitfire Grill (Joe Sutter). His first professional job was a full-circle moment: playing Sky in Mamma Mia! at Music Theatre Wichita — the very show that would later launch his Broadway debut.
Since then, Dorian has performed across the country in regional theatres, on cruise ships, and, for the past two years, has had the incredible honor of touring the U.S. with the Broadway production of Mamma Mia! He has performed in nearly every major city in the country as a member of the Ensemble, and as the understudy for Sam and Bill — taking the stage in cities including Chicago, Toronto, New Orleans, Memphis, Dallas, and many more.
Additional favorite credits include:
Jersey Boys (Tommy DeVito) – Arts Center of Coastal Carolina
Legally Blonde (Kyle/Dewey/Grandmaster Chad) – Big League Productions
A Chorus Line (Don Kerr) – Laguna Playhouse
Xanadu (Sonny Malone) – Surflight Theatre
Grease (Danny Zuko) – MNM Theatre
Footloose (Chuck Cranston) – Slow Burn Theatre
In addition to performing, Dorian is a passionate visual artist specializing in cartoon illustration. One of his biggest dreams is to one day create and voice his own animated children’s series. Whether on stage, sketching, or writing, Dorian is driven by a love for storytelling that sparks joy, laughter, and connection.
He sends love and gratitude to his family — Blaine, Deb, Kitt, Emily, and Hannah Herron — for their unwavering support, and gives all glory to God.
